We're going to call this apron La Playa.  It has been raining for hours and that makes us think about hitting the beach to soak up some sun and fun.  The cool, beautiful, blue water and the fun flowers, just seem to reflect that all back at us.  What do you think?

Brighten your day

So the vacation is over and the fun has begun.  We are working on more and more great things for you to see at The Girls at Rusted Gingham's Barn Sale.  Just can not wait to show you what goodies we will be filling this great little table with.  And who knows, you may just find a for sale sign on the table too.  Isn't it wonderful!

We have gift sets galore. This is one of our favorites. A one of a kind package of two tablets and a giant bookmark.  Perfect for teacher gifts, or a little something for your friends or postman. Everyone needs a pretty little tablet or two and a bookmark to match. Clean, Clean, Clean!

We have been busy as bees in the spring time whipping up these hand crochet washcloths.  We have all colors, many styles and stitches.  There is one perfect to wash everything from your newborns tender skin to those dinner dishes still sitting in the sink.  They are perfect to wrap up with some hand made soap or bath oil for a great gift.  Stock up you won't want to use anything else after you try these.  Don't forget they will be available at The Girls at Rusted Gingham Barn Sale November 2 and 3, 2012.

August Apron Love

We have been so focused on creating that we totally forgot to show things off.  Here are a couple more of the great oilcloth aprons we have been busy with.  The red polka dot one makes us think of Katy Perry.  Dont forget to come to the barn sale to see all the goodies, The Girls at Rusted Gingham have been busy making sure that we vendors have lots to choose from.

The flowers of summer

As Bluebonnet Smile says good bye to all the visiting family we want to share with you some of our pretties that we will have ready for you at The Girls at Rusted Gingham Barn Sale in November.  We are so excited to be one of the vendors and will be posting more and more of our lovelies as time gets closer.  Check back often as our artisans are hard at work.

Can any of our crafty, artsy-fartsy friends out there tell us why wealways try to do some big project just when everything else is going crazy.  Never seems to fail.  Our creative to do list grows disproportionately to everything else.

Happy 4th of July

So here we are in July.  Summer heat is promised all around.  We are surrounded by things we need to do and things we want to do.  Our friends and family are within a keystroke.  Please make sure to stop and take a moment to say thanks to those who have fought to make sure we have the ability to make choices.  So many have given their life for our choices.

Colors, Colors, Colors

So the ladies at Bluebonnet Smile picked out some new colors for fall.  I know, I know, fall is a long way away.  We still have to make it thru a hot Texas Summer but playing with colors is fun.  We have Deep Forrest Pine, Pumpkin Patch, Pure Purple, Candy Apple and Totally Teal.  Excited to show you what we have on the workbench.

Doing the happy Dance!!!

We did it!!  Our first major goal complete.  We were accepted to be vendors at the Barn Sale in Gonzales, Texas the 2nd and 3rd of November.  The ladies at Rusted Gingham rock.  They host the Barn Sale and it was wonderful last year.  We can't wait to show off our stuff.
